01Turntables & lazy susans · 23 pieces
Copco turntables from 9 to 18 inches across: flat discs, two-tier stands, divided trays, bamboo, and the tall under-sink model cut around the plumbing. Every one sits on a base that stays planted while the tray spins.

02What decides it
Rotating cabinet and pantry organizers from 9 to 18 inches: flat, two-tier, divided, bamboo and under-sink, all on a non-skid base.
Measure the cabinet before you shop, because a turntable is bought by diameter and ruined by an inch. Take the depth of the shelf, the width between the hinges, and the swing of the door: the disc has to clear all three while it turns. A 9-inch fits a cabinet the size of a medicine shelf; a 12 covers most uppers; the 18 wants a base cabinet or the open country under a sink.
The under-sink model is the one people write to us about. It stands taller than the flat discs, holds bottles upright, and turns the darkest cabinet in the kitchen into a carousel: the drain cleaner you last saw in March comes around to meet you. If your plumbing drops in the middle of the cabinet, measure from the trap to the wall before ordering the 18-inch.

03Against the alternatives
There are only so many answers to a cabinet you cannot see into, and most kitchens have tried two of them. Here they are side by side, including the ones that cost nothing at all.
| The fix | What it does well | What it costs you | Honest verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ruthless decluttering | Free, and it works for a month | The shelf refills itself: depth invites depth | Do it once, then change the geometry |
| Stacking things in rows | Free, uses every cubic inch | The back row exists only in theory; you shop from the front one | How the second jar of cumin happens |
| A turntable | The back row rotates to the front; one motion, no unloading | The corners of a square shelf stay outside the circle | The answer for corners, deep singles and under the sink |
| A tiered riser | All three rows readable at once, nothing moves | Helps with height, not with depth: the shelf stays as deep as it was | The answer for spice jars and cans on a straight shelf |
| A handled bin | The whole huddle pulls out like a drawer; the shelf wipes in one pass | You still have to lift it down to shop from it | The answer for high shelves and the refrigerator |
The bottom three rows are where the Copco shelves lives, and the first two are worth trying before you spend anything at all.
04Asked on this shelf
The three things people ask us about turntables and lazy susans before they choose a size.
A 9-inch fits a medicine-cabinet shelf, a 12 covers most uppers, and the 15 and 18 want a base cabinet or the space under a sink. Measure the shelf and the door opening before choosing: the disc goes in flat.
The base is the part that answers that: it stands still while the tray above it turns on its bearing, and the non-skid surface on the tray does the same job for the jars. A turntable that walks across the shelf is doing the one thing it exists not to do.
The 18-inch under-sink model is cut for exactly that cabinet: taller than the flat discs, sized to stand beside the plumbing, and turning the bottles you last saw in spring back around to the door. Measure from the trap to the wall first.
